Great place, the owner Frank is super. We have been here for the last 15 years when we go down to the nurburgring.

A rustic mountain hotel, like in the past, you can feel transported back in time. Were there about 2 years ago. I haven't seen it open for months now. Would be a good starting point for all new hikers and home tourists. The view is great!

Closed ... stop and enjoy the great view. You can also go hiking here :)

Frank the owner is fantastic, he can't do enough, including staying up while we are drinking beer till late, And the breakfast are fantastic, top Mark's Frank. See you in a few weeks

My wife and I first stayed here on our visit to the 1967 German Grand Prix. I don't know how our travel agent in the US made the reservation but it was the highlight of our 6 week European trip...at least in my mind. Frank's father was the perfect host, even though he didn't speak any English and my more-than-10 year old high school German was very poor. Great memories! When I was able to go back to the Nurburgring with our two sons in 2005, it was wonderful to stay here. Once again, it was a great experience, especially being able to share it with my sons. Frank was, like his father, the perfect host. His English was perfect and my German even worse almost 40 years later, if that is possible. I highly recommend staying here to enjoy life as it used to exist. Hope we get back to "normal" soon. Stay healthy!

Can not say much, it was closed. In winter the perfect hotel, located right on a toboggan run .. but was unfortunately closed

Looks pretty much abandoned. Does anyone know more? We would have liked to take a break on the terrace, but was unfortunately too. Too bad and no sign with information.

We have used this hotel every year since 2010 for our Nurburgring tour. Frank (owner) is brilliant and can not do enough for his guests. Will be back in 2020 !

Rustic economy, which unfortunately already has its best times behind it. For sledders who want to fortify themselves with a soup or currywurst with chips, but it is completely sufficient.

Very cozy, economical, quiet and well-located hotel to go to the Nurburgring circuit. The breakfast is very complete. Frank is very nice, very nice and will help you in everything possible

Great place to stay. Quirky but nice, don't expect the Ritz but all the basics are covered, and the view from the hotel is amazing. Frank the owner is such a great character and always willing to help.

You just have to have been on the highest elevation of the Eifel - nothing else going on. The forest around the Hohe Acht is beautiful - if you do not mind the droning of the Nürburgring. The view from the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower is: far.

Super toboggan. 150 people are spread very widely. If you are early enough there is also good parking available. Always my pleasure. Arrival 3/4 hour from Bonn possible.

The highest mountain in the Eifel with great views from the lookout tower and in its function as a volcano interesting geological features such as basalt rocks. In winter very mystical place.

This is a lovely hotel that gives you exactly what you need when visiting the Nurburgring and surrounding area. The rooms are clean and the breakfast hearty. Nothing is too much trouble for Frank and the staff at the hotel. We stay here every year and are looking forward to next year already. Outstanding!

It was good

Stayed here for a long weekend, would highly recommend it. Frank who runs the hotel is very welcoming and happy to be flexiable on breakfast times. Clean and tidy rooms and the best views.Will definitely go back.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else than here when I come to the Nurburgring, location is perfect, scenery and roads stunning, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Extremely helpful and welcoming proprietor, arranged local transport for our large party and telephoning facilities for us making bookings. Breakfast was substantial and times flexible. Rooms were comfortable with en-suite. I would recommend this character hotel to anyone.

Its close to The Ring, you get a good breakfast, a good beer in the evening and a good night's sleep - it's all you need!

I've been coming here for years and would heartily recommend it. The hotel has been in Frank's family since the beginning of the 1900's. In fact it was there before there were roads, let alone the Nürburgring, many parts of which are close enough to walk to if you like to combine a bit of exercise through the woods with visits to famous corners like Karussel, Wippermann, Brunnchen and Pflanzgarten. Adenau is only 7km down the hill and Nürburg is a similar distance. Frank is a great host, friendly and helpful. It's not a modern hotel but it has lots of parking, wifi and good hearty German cuisine. You can always get takeaways delivered if you want.

Frank is a great host serving good food and drink. The place is close to the 'Ring' and fantastic surrounding roads. Have stayed here twice. Going again soon.

Historic, great view over the Green Hell and you can see very far from the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower. And very good place to relax

Nice walk made to this tower

Do not miss this place as it is perfectly situated when visiting Nurburgring. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed. The rooms are nice, especially room number 22. The surroundings are just breathtaking, please take some time exploring! When going by car it is always nice to have a place to park your car, here there is always room infront of the hotel. Food and drinks are great as well, especially if you like schnitzel :) We will be back!
